here have the past two decades gone? It was 20 years ago that the first issue of Aquatics International came rolling off the presses — and a lot has changed since then. From the fall of communism to the Internet and Sept. 11, today’s world is a very different place than it was in 1988.

So are today’s aquatics facilities. In celebration of our 20th anniversary, we decided to take a look back at just how much has changed over the past 20 years by exploring 20 of the biggest advancements in those decades. We call it 20/20. From the ADA to UV, these are the advancements that have shaped your facilities.

But there’s more to a birthday than looking back, so we also asked industry experts to share their thoughts on what the next 20 years might bring.
