Wave Machine Makers Face Off in Patent Dispute

July 2009

Bookmark and Share
A local judge has stayed Wave Loch Inc.’s patent infringement campaign against American Wave Machines, ordering that Wave Loch’s contested patents be re-examined. This is considered a battle won for Solana Beach, Calif.-based AWM in a round deemed critical in such suits, according to legal experts. Such action by a judge gives legal merit to the sued party’s claim that the litigious firm’s claims on the disputed technology may not be valid. San Diego-based Wave Loch sued AWM in 2008.
