Aquatics International received several honors at the 57th Annual Jesse H. Neal National Business Journalism Awards last week.

The magazine was a finalist for a Grand Neal award; the article The Enemy Within won the best single article in the Class A category; and editor Gary Thill received the Timothy White Award for Editorial Integrity.

Considered the “Pulitzer Prize of business media,” the Neal Awards were established in 1955 to recognize editorial excellence.

The Timothy White Award is named after the longtime editor of Billboard magazine and is given annually to an editor whose work displays courage, integrity and passion.

This year’s ceremony was held at the Mandarin Oriental in New York City.
