The Beach Waterpark knows its
audience. Specifically, it’s primarily women 25 to 44 years
who have two or more children ages 1 to 12 years, at least some
college-level education and a household income of approximately

The park’s answer: Mom Day Mondays in which local business
partners, including Cincinnati Academy (a Paul Mitchell Partner
School), Center for Chiropractic Orthopedics and Dillards West
Towne Center, offer free haircuts, manicures, massages and swimsuit
fashion shows for visiting moms.
Of course, these moms want entertainment for the kids, too. And The
Beach comes through again with more than 50 water rides and

times, The Beach employs an extensive marketing plan that includes
radio, television, outdoor, online and print ads, as well as social
media (Facebook and Twitter).
As part of the marketing program, The Beach’s marketing
interns and even the mascot visit festivals, parades, malls and
business events to distribute brochures and coupons.
The Beach Waterpark starts recruiting its seasonal staff of more
than 500 early, with two highly publicized job fairs in April. Lead
staff members and interns must attend a Supervisor Seminar held
during the first week of May.
The following weekend, all employees attend a mandatory all-day
business operation orientation, followed by another mandatory
in-park dry run day.
