The Worldmark by Trendwest is a modern resort hotel located in Indio, California. The crown jewel and centerpiece for the resort is the aquatic complex, which was designed by Western Pacific Resort Development in close association with Aquatic Design Group.
This complex features eight bodies of recreational water. The west main pool is a free flowing 4,999 square-foot pool with variable water depth (from 3 feet, 6 inches to 5 feet) to allow guests to relax in comfort and ease and still exercise in the deeper portions.
The west children’s pool is an 1,800 square-foot wading pool with directional water sprays at the perimeter and a zero depth entry. With a maximum depth of 1 foot, children may safely play and cool off on balmy desert days.
The 4,999 square-foot river pool, with a uniform depth of 3 feet, features a current that carries guests within inner tubes along at a leisurely 2 to 3 miles per hour for relaxation and fun in the sun.
The east main pool and east children’s pool are similar in size to their counterparts on the west and allow for guests located in rooms on the east to have the same access to the water as those on the west.
Two hydrotherapy spas, 250 square feet each, allow for guests to thoroughly relax and forget their worries. Also designed for this picturesque resort includes a 15,900 square-foot decorative lake and stream system that complete the feeling of tranquility in this oasis in Indio.
