After opening Wilderness at the Smokies Resort in Tennessee, some of the same investors are now developing a $163 million resort and indoor waterpark in the popular ski area.

Wisconsin Dells-based Waterpark Ventures is partnering with Camelback Mountain Resort to develop Camelback Lodge & Indoor Waterpark.

According to the Journal Sentinel, the 453-room resort is to open in February 2015 at the base of Camelback Mountain. The eight-story building will feature a spa, restaurants, a conference center and 170,000 square feet of indoor entertainment, including a 125,000-square-foot waterpark. Read More
