Summer is officially just around the corner and, not surprisingly, the media is all over the idea of summer fun, swimming pools and the need for swim lessons, especially for kids. Some are stating that lessons for babies ages 6 months to 1 year is a good idea.

Infant Swimming Resource has been doing just that since 1966, when it was founded by Dr. Harvey Barnett. ISR’s team of nearly 450 instructors teaches water survival skills to babies – and, for toddlers, they teach survival along with some swim strokes. These lessons occur in backyard pools or aquatics facilities here and abroad.
