After three delays, the world still is waiting for the opening of Schlitterbahn's Verrückt, the world's tallest, fastest waterslide.
Originally slated to open May 23, the date was pushed back to June 5. Another delay pushed the official opening to June 29, but then the park announced the slide's opening would be delayed again for issues with the conveyor belt and additional testing.
Some of that testing included Jeff Henry, one of the owners of Schlitterbahn, riding down the slide with head designer John Schooley and Henry's assistant. Their test can be seen in a point-of-view video Schlitterbahn released so people can virtually ride the slide.
