The main attraction at this 4-acre waterpark is the King Cobra, an imposing water slide that stands 50 feet tall and 260 feet long. The slide allows two riders to race side by side at speeds of up to 32 miles per hour, using water pressures of more than 3,800 gallons per minute through open and closed tubes. A final thrill comes toward the end when riders face a 25-foot drop down a 50-degree slope.

Balancing King Cobra is the colorful-yet-mellow Lazy Hera. Santorini Water Fantasy is part of a complex that includes a pre-existing amusement park and retail center located in Thailand’s Phetchaburi Province.

Say the designers: “The waterpark, as well as the existing amusement park and retail center, is located in the southern part of the Phetchaburi Province in central Thailand. The aquatic options of Santorini Water Fantasy are a mix of rides for both thrill seekers and families with young ones.”

The design team found an interesting way to incorporate social media into the park. Guests can connect to a specially designed camera system with their Facebook accounts. When their photographs are taken on certain attractions, the images will automatically upload to their Facebook pages.
