Most operators would rather scrub pool walls than think about marketing. Tara Narhup explains why a good marketing plan is essential and how it can be fun in our Bottom Line column. Narhup is the marketing director for The Beach Waterpark in Mason, Ohio. She has worked full time for Water Parks Inc., the management company of The Beach Waterpark, for over six years now, and before that worked seasonally with the waterpark for 10 years. She started her career in the waterpark business as a pool cleaner, was promoted to a water chemistry supervisor and later became the aquatics manager.
