The year 2016 has been a good one so far for Polin Waterparks. In the last two months alone, the firm based in Istanbul, Turkey, has received two awards and debuted a new attraction in France.

In February, Polin received the Respect for Humans Award from by Turkey's leading online career and recruitment job platform, Kariyer.net. . Created to promote the efforts of businesses in the area of human resources, the award honors companies that treat all applicants, regardless of a job's level, with dignity and consideration. To be considered for the award, Polin had to demonstrate a fast response to applications, have a high rate of employment and have the largest number of applicants.

The following Month, Polin announced that two fusion slides that debuted at Campsite Le Chateau Vieux in Saint Hilaire de Riez, France, had successful first runs after opening in May 2015. The combination even includes the country's first Sphere water slide. The 10,763-square-foot area of aquatic attractions at the five-star resort features Space Hole + Aquatube and the Sphere + Blackhole Combo, both which incorporate Polin's patented Natural Light Effects technology for an exciting visual experience while zooming through the slides' interiors. The firm expects the slides to attract record numbers to the waterpark in 2016.

Also in March, Polin Waterparks' King Cobra earned a Silver Award during the Istanbul International Inventions Fair in March. The company received the award in recognition of excellent and creative efforts to invent King Cobra, according to a press release. This marks the seventh award the water slide has received since it debuted in 2010.
