Universal Orlando is upping its game. In the last year, the facility has announced a number of upgrades, including the opening of Diagon Alley, the sequel to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Florida, as well as eight new venues at the CityWalk complex, and Cabana Bay Beach Resort. Not to mention the announcement of another resort, Saphire Falls, coming in 2016.

Now, a waterpark also is on the list. Coming in 2017, Volcano Bay will be adjacent to Cabana Bay Beach Resort. While details still are scarce, one thing is for certain: a huge 200-foot volcano will be a focal point on the park. And if the design stays true to the sketches released along with the announcement, a wave pool also will be part of the structure.

Will the park be enough to make it to the Dream Design

list? Only time will tell. Read More
