Kristin Goffman, a founding board member of the National Drowning Prevention Alliance, has resigned as its executive director.
She officially left the position on March 17, though she stayed on
to help coordinate April’s 2011 National Drowning Prevention
Symposium in Colorado.
Goffman will continue to work with NDPA through September, managing
the contract awarded to the group by the U.S. Consumer Product
Safety Commission. She also will serve as director of NDPA’s
new Pool & Spa Safety Technician Training Program.
