SAI is an internationally recognized water safety certification agency, and we are the only U.S. agency providing certifications in every facet of aquatics: a lifeguard training curriculum (StarGuard), a swim instruction curriculum, pool operator certification (AquaTech) and community safety training (STAR). The most common question we’re asked is, “What is the difference between SAI and the other national and international training and certification agencies?” There are two distinctions that set us apart. The first is our experiential approach to learning: competency is developed through a holistic learning experience in which practical skills are integrated together. The second is our commitment to provide you with the highest level of service. Our StarGuard program is a hands-on, scenario-based curriculum with an optional interactive on-line component that may be used to reduce in-person training time. Our "ages and stages" swim lesson program (6 month to adult) is used globally and is known for its innovative teaching methods. Safety concepts are built in to the curriculum and transition is fast and easy. Our AquaTech curriculum prepares individuals to effectively operate the filtration and circulation systems and maintain water sanitation and chemistry for all aquatic facilities. It is hands-on and easy to understand. We also offer a comprehensive system of consulting services and audits to help improve safety at aquatic venues.
Star Safety Training and Aquatic Rescue Program
The STAR course provides members of your community with practical tools to be safer around the water, and can be combined with Emergency Care instruction.
