Colorado Time Systems, manufacturer of timing, scoring and display systems for aquatics facilities, is being inducted into the Colorado Swimming Hall of Fame. The Loveland, Colo. company was founded 45 years ago by former Hewlett-Packard Co. employees and has remained there since. Now it will be honored by its hometown.
According to a report by The Denver Post, Colorado Time Systems is being inducted because of its contribution to the world of competitive swimming, with Russ Marsh, treasurer of the Colorado Swimming Hall of Fame, crediting it with introducing timing systems over stopwatches. The company makes starting blocks, touch pads, pace clocks, timing systems and scoreboards.
Hall of fame officials will travel to Loveland to present Colorado Time Systems officials with their honor.
