Waterparks are most successful when they target and serve the needs of their market. In India this can mean having a large capacity and efficient organization in a park that does a great job of acknowledging local culture simply through iconography. The 17-acre Suraj Water Park near Mumbai does this well. One prominent feature of the park is a natural-looking waterfall attraction called Har Har Gange, designed to represent the mythological story of the origins of India’s Ganges River.
