A major media investigation into the testing of VGBA approved drain covers is raising questions. It appears that “holes” in testing standards have allowed at least one testing lab to approve products that may not be safe, according to the Chicago Tribune.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission is looking into the issue, and United States Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) and at least one manufacturer have responded to a recent report in the Chicago Tribune.
