The 1,500 room-plus Gaylord Texan hotel in Grapevine, Texas, is a one-of-a-kind, highly themed hotel with 400,000 square feet of meeting, convention and exhibit space. Located on Lake Grapevine in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, it recently amped up its family friendly aquatic amenity. Officially opened Memorial Day weekend, the 10-acre Paradise Springs pool complex includes a 600-foot-long lazy river; a 6,000-square-foot, beach-entry family lagoon; a 27-foot water slide; two horseshoe-shaped hot pools; a toddler pool; private cabanas; a pool bar and grill; and an outdoor game pavilion.
