Lifeguard Orientation
When American Dream opens next month it’s going to have the largest indoor waterpark in the western hemisphere.
That means they need A LOT of lifeguards. Like, 300.
American Dream will host three lifeguard hiring events -- beginning this weekend -- to fill full- and part-time positions for the DreamWorks Water Park. New hires will receive paid certification training.
The positions pay $16 to $19 per hour and you must be at least 16 years old to apply. Lifeguards at DreamWorks Water Park will be responsible for the safe operation of slides, runouts, catch pools, hot tubs and the 1.5 acre wave pool.
It requires the ability to swim, tread water and perform other physical activities including the ability to stand for long periods of time, climb multiple flights of stairs, successfully complete certification in First Aid, CPR and Ellis & Associate Lifeguard Training.
