Coventry's new gym and water park will be home to some revolutionary new technology - which will be able to track your workout.
Set to open later this year, city centre leisure centre The Wave will be home to £1.3million of "digitally enhanced" gym equipment.
This includes digital wrist bands which will replace traditional membership cards.
These will allow customers to check in to the fitness centre - and others across the city, and what's more, it will track and record exercise data on smartphones - to help track health and fitness.
It comes as CV Life, which will run the £30million water park and leisure centre, has splashed out on a five-year investment deal with Technogym.
Not only will Technogym supply over 100 pieces of gym equipment to The Wave, they will also be kitting out the health and fitness clubs at Centre AT7, the Xcel Leisure Centre and the Alan Higgs Centre with a further 200 pieces of equipment.
