By the time the hot Houston summer hits, a new record-breaking ride will open at Schlitterbahn Waterpark Galveston Island.
The highly-anticipated ride, called Infinity Racers, consists of two, nearly fully-enclosed racing slides that guests will travel down head first, the Chronicle previously reported. At 75-feet tall and 696 feet long, the record-breaking ride "is slated to become one of the great waterpark rides in the world," the park said in a release. For comparison, the park's largest ride MASSIV, dubbed the World's Tallest Water Coaster, is 81 feet high and 926 feet long.
