Many aquatics facilities mark the end of summer with one last hurrah by opening up their pools to local dogs after bidding farewell for the year to human guests. The canines can enjoy the water one last time for the season, without compromising the water quality for their human counterparts. It's almost a rite.
Such was the case in Royal Palm Beach, Fla., last week at the Calypso Bay Waterpark. At the event, called Waggin’ at the Waterpark, hundreds of dogs descended on the pools and waterfeatures to frolic and cool off.
The website SouthFlorida.com documented the occasion with dozens of photos showing the guests of honor and their people enjoying the water in different ways.
