Winter doesn’t seem interested in leaving the Wisconsin Dells, the Poconos or other cold-weather resort and destination areas. So plenty of people wish they could beckon spring and summer to come.

So it only seems fitting that indoor waterparks should be recognized.

U.S. News & World Report has issued a list that it's calling The 30 Top Indoor Waterparks Around the World. Great Wolf Lodge comprises almost one third of the list, with nine properties listed. The media outlet also included multiple parks from Kalahari and Schlitterbahn.

At least one Aquatics International Dream Designs winner, Camelback Lodge and Aquatopia Indoor Waterpark in Tannersville, Pa. (pictured), also made the list.

In additional to waterparks all over the U.S., properties in Canada, France, Germany and China were cited.
