D. R. Plaister Aquatic House – Hobart, Tasmania, AU  Opened in 1938 as the Hobart Tepid Baths, the facility was later purchased by the Department of Education and eventually renamed the Dr Plaister Aquatic House after Doug Plaister an avid swimmer, swim instructor and a one-time mayor of Hobart.

Gladesville Mental Hospital – Gladesville, Sydney, AU  Reports indicate that the facility was first opened in 1838 and remained in operation until 1997. Could inmates have used this pool at one time, or was it for staff?

Kings Meadow Open Air Baths – Reading, Berkshire UK  Opened in 1903, it appears renovation plans are underway to restore and reopen the facility, thanks to a local campaign.

Harpurhey Baths –  Manchester, UK  The pool was closed in 2001 reportedly after serious defects were discovered in the building’s walls and machinery. While in operation it was "was a focal point for both work and play for many years," according to this report.
