Take a closer look at the nation's first pool dedicated to helping adults conquer their fear of water.
First of its kind
This pool was formally owned by a Jewish community center. Now it's the nation's first pool exclusively for afraid-in-water adults. It celebrated its 1-year anniversary in May.
A place to start
This shallow pool is where students at Miracle Swimming For Adults first learn to overcome their fear of water. Once they learn to float comfortably, they graduate to the main 6-lane, 25-meter pool.
Getting a grip
Students grab a hold of the rail to experience floating in deep water.
