Waterpark professionals gathered in New Orleans for the World Waterpark Association’s Symposium & Trade Show. The event was held Oct. 11-14 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center and filled 100,000 square feet of exhibit space with more than 230 exhibitors and 1,500 attendees.
In addition to domestic organizations, active leisure markets were represented from 23 countries, including Australia, Brazil, Colombia, Hong Kong, Israel and Jamaica.
“It’s incredibly exciting to see how much the waterpark industry continues to expand on a global scale,” said Rick Root, president of WWA. “With new projects on deck in China, Turkey, the U.S., the UAE, and beyond, we know that our show attendees came to hear from the best in the industry and uncover new ways to advance their businesses.”
