Through a newly created division, the water and theme park attraction manufacturer WhiteWater West Industries Ltd. (WWI) has entered into waterpark services agreements in Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia, Philippines and Bahrain.

For these new ventures, WhiteWater Southeast Asia (WW-SEA) has partnered with the Thai hospitality company Vana Nava Company Limited, which owns Vana Nava Water Jungle in Hua Hin, Thailand. The announcement follows the opening of a WW-SEA Bangkok, Thailand office in late 2016.

WW-SEA will provide services such as concept and schematic design, the full line of waterslides, attractions, rivers, surf pools, FlowRiders, and children’s interactive water play. The firm also will perform operational consulting, market research, operational services, pre-opening services and operational management.

“We are happy to establish ourselves so quickly in the region,” said WW-SEA CEO, Chris Perry. “We see enormous development opportunities across Southeast Asia and the regions that sit close by.”
