As the second-most-winning program in its division, Denison University’s swimming program needed a facility of similar caliber. Instead, it had an aging pool more suited to a high school. With the new Trumbull Aquatics Center, the school’s athletes now have a training edge over peers from other institutions, many of which don’t have a long-course aquatic facility. A 50-meter-by-25-yard pool features a moveable bulkhead and moveable floor. Athletes can train on dry land with 1- and 3-meter boards equipped with overhead spotting rigs. With the provided video-taping equipment, the coaching staff can film underwater. The cameras come with delayed playback at both boards.
