The Association of Aquatic Professionals has opened registration for its annual conference.
This year, the event will take place Feb. 17-20, 2020 at the Embassy Suites and Convention Center in the Dallas suburb of Frisco, Texas.
The event will feature a keynote address by Olympic gold medal-winning swimmer Rowdy Gaines, who now serves as chief fundraiser for USA Swimming and, as a swimming analyst, has covered the sport at every Olympic Games since 1996.
The event will end with an address by Joey Rusnak, founder of drowning-prevention organization Lifeguard Authority, who will share his vision for eliminating drowning from lifeguarded environments. Attendees who close out the conference an also view a presentation on updated drowning statistics in aquatics operations by Mick Nelson.
