Illinois lawmakers are now considering the Swimming Facility Act.
SB 3727 was sent to the house floor late last month.
If passed, the bill would modify the states pool code to require architects, engineers and contractors to receive prequalification from the Illinois Department of Public Health, before completing work in the State.
