Those hoping to suggest changes for the next Model Aquatic Health Code have until Friday, Oct. 13 to file their suggestions.
The Council for the Model Aquatic Health Code is accepting change requests for the fifth edition of the CDC-sanctioned national model code.
The MAHC is a comprehensive model code that addresses all aspects of aquatics building, design, maintenance and operation. It is a model code, which means it must be adopted by states or municipalities for it to take effect, whether in full or in part.
Anyone can submit a change request but must register on the website.
Individuals can submit up to 50 change requests.
