The Pool & Hot Tub Alliance (PHTA) Standards Consensus Committee, which reviews and votes on all pool, spa, and hot tub standards approved by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) appointed a vice chair and four new voting members. Bruce Carney, owner of American Pools & Spas in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, will serve as vice chair. New voting members include Kevin Baugh of the Johnson County Department of Health and Environment in Olathe, Kan.; Megan Ferraro of The ZAC Foundation in Malvern, Pa.; Alan Korn of Abbey’s Hope in Washington, D.C.; and Lexi Schmidt of Walt Disney World in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.
