The 2019 World Aquatic Health Conference took a historical turn, set in Colonial Williamsburg, Va., and held for the first time under the Pool & Hot Tub Alliance umbrella.

Approximately 400 attendees came to learn about all areas of pools and aquatics, from the technical aspects to safety and operation. Pre-conference meetings and panels looked at chemical issues, the most prominent being the use of cyanuric acid.

Next year’s WAHC will take place in Houston, Texas, Oct. 14-16, 2020. The Council for the Model Aquatic Health Code also will meet there.
