Great Wolf Lodge is eyeballing Southern Orange County, New York for a new location.
“I’ve had productive conversations about this project with leadership from Great Wolf Lodge throughout the past year,” Steven M. Neuhaus, Orange County executive told the Warwick Advertiser. “I’m optimistic that they will choose to build their 20th waterpark in Orange County.”
The Hudson Valley is becoming quite the tourist destination. The Great Wolf location would be eight miles from a new Legoland in Goshen, which is expected to open in 2020. And Resorts World Catskills in Monticello is building an indoor waterpark.
There are currently 17 Great Wolf Lodge locations across North America with more slatted for Texas, California, Florida, Arizona and Canada.
