When the gates open for the summer later this month, several waterparks across the nation will debut new attractions.
In Indiana, Splashin’ Safari will launch Mammoth, billed as the world’s longest water coaster. Near Pittsburgh, Pa., Sandcastle Waterpark will open the Dragon’s Den bowl slide, the first new attraction at Sandcastle in nearly a decade. Six Flags Hurricane Harbor, in Jackson, N.J. will debut the Cobra, a racing tube slide.
Other new attractions include a new beach themed spraypark at Wet ‘n Wild Orlando, Fla.; the Bonzai Pipeline bodyslides at Six Flags St. Louis Hurricane Harbor; a new slide tower at Funtown Spalshtown USA in Saco, Maine; and Adventure River, at Ocean Breeze Waterpark in Virginia Beach, Va.
