Tapping into strong waterpark demand, WhiteWater West Industries Richmond, British Columbia, Canada, continues to expand its capacity to serve the Asian market. It has opened a new, larger office in Shanghai and recently announced that it has completed more than 30 waterpark attraction installations this year.These projects include:

Tianmu Lake Water World, Jiangsu Province, China
Located west of Shanghai, Tianmu Lake Water World is China’s top ecological waterpark. Owned by the Jiangsu Tianmu Lake Tourism Company, the park opened May 28, 2014. Waterpark attractions designed and supplied by WhiteWater are integrated into the surrounding natural environment.

Tokyo Summerland Tokyo, Japan
Tokyo Summerland welcomed Japan’s first Abyss funnel waterslide concept, aptly named the DEKASLA! meaning ‘big slide’. It stands more than 78 feet high.

Chimelong Ocean Kingdom, Hengqin Island, China
Chimelong Ocean Kingdom located on Hengqin Island, China, will be the second waterpark built by the Chimelong Group. The 353-acre park features the largest aquarium in the world and WhiteWater West created attractions and spaces for both humans and animals. These include a custom designed wave pool was created specifically for a marine animal exhibit and two other wave pools are in place for the entertainment of the visitors.

Nantong Adventure Kingdom Water World, Nantong, China
Nantong Adventure Kingdom Water World, an indoor waterpark north of Shanghai, features waterslide experiences including the AquaLoop, a children’s area, a highly themed AquaPlay structure, a family wave pool and a Double FlowRider. The 40,000 square meter indoor waterpark opened on June 30th.
