Aquatics International's editor-in-chief, Joanne McClain, along with Lifesaver columnist Pete DeQuincy, will present a general session at the 2018 Association of Aquatics Professionals Conference and Exposition. The event, which will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 6 from 8:15-9:30 a.m. at the TradeWinds Island Resort in St. Pete Beach, Florida., will focus on successful programming ideas and special events, as previously recognized by AI’s Best of Aquatics award.

"Effective programming is key for the success of any aquatics facility, but knowing what will be successful is always a conundrum," said McClain. "And in times where facilities continue to face strict budget restrictions, instituting a new program can be especially risky. We want to help take the guesswork out of the equation."

Attendees will gain insights into how these award-winning facilities built their programs, the value of industry awards, and even pointers on how to fill out an awards entry form so your facility gets noticed. Lastly, the current Best of Aquatics honorees will be recognized.

Attendees also will earn credit toward CEUs. A light continental breakfast will be served.
