Swimming pools have a way of bringing families together. Family is an important part of the makeup of our company. Spanning over 50 years and two generations, our family strives to give yours the best quality and service in the swimming pool industry.
The company was originally established by Richard Gerspach in 1958 as Island Pools. Island Pools started out by simply supplying installation, service and repairs to swimming pools. From these humble beginnings grew a larger company focusing on a nationwide reach for swimming pool parts and accessories.
We have expanded to include not only general pool supplies and backyard items, but it also has become the largest independent source of replacement parts to fit Kayak Pools® and a manufacturer of parts for the solar deck heated Fanta-Sea Pools®. Sales of our products can be seen in prominent positions on numerous websites (including poolsupplies.com), as well as a 60-page, widely distributed print catalogue.
2003 saw the passing of Richard Gerspach after battling cancer. The legacy of our company is now passed down to Richard's son, Paul. Under Paul's direction, PoolSupplies.com is one of the most successful multi-channel retailers in the swimming pool and spa industry.
With a knowledgeable staff operating a warehouse and office complex spanning over 245,000 square feet, a mail-order catalogue and high-profile internet site, PoolSupplies.com moves forward in honoring the original legacy of superior products and service from our family to yours.
