It’s that time of year again. Not only does the industry prepare for the high season and the summer crowds, but we at Aquatics International get ready to recognize the best waterparks and aquatics facilities around the globe.

In doing so, we’ve been able to witness some of the biggest, most tricked-out waterparks in the world. And, like the best of the best, they not only provide something for everyone, but they also tell a cohesive story through first-class theming.

It’s true that these large-scale waterparks can provide the most dramatic eye candy. However, Dream Designs includes several other categories, as well. Here’s the complete list:

• Country club/swim club
• Competition pool
• Swim school
• Health club/fitness center
• Hotel/resort
• Leisure pool/family aquatic center
• Military/government facility
• Spraypark
• Therapy/wellness center
• Waterpark
• Waterpark resort

So gather those pictures, send in those entries (apply here), and get the credit you deserve. Entries will be accepted until May 18.

In the meantime, enjoy the previous waterparks honorees below.
