Kate Connell is an advocate for equity in recreational water use and has a record of implementing inclusive programs, policies and personnel practices as a municipal aquatics program supervisor. As founder of Equitable Aquatics, she audits, consults and trains on diversity, equity and inclusion practices and protocol in aquatics spaces and for recreational and tourism agencies. She serves as chair and chair-elect of the IPRA and NRPA Aquatics Networks and is a member of the AOAP Diversity and Inclusion Committee.
