For 2024, the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions inducted the founders of two seminal waterslide makers into its Hall of Fame. These included Geoff Chutter of WhiteWater, pictured center below, as well as Rick Hunter, president/CEO of ProSlide Technology.
The World Waterpark Association also honored two new inductees at its fall trade show: Chris Swartz of Saudi Entertainment Ventures, and Ron Hood of The Walt Disney Company.
