
Every year, the World Waterpark Association honors several individuals, organizations and companies for their service and impact on the water attractions industry, as well as to recognize specific waterparks.
These include new inductees into the WWA Hall of Fame, recognized for their eminence and achievements in the development and advancement of the water attractions industry. The following were inducted in October at the 2022 WWA Show in Las Vegas:

Since 1998, Sangree has worked as a business consultant to the waterparks industry, as well as its pre-eminent purveyor of market intelligence, surveying its growth and success, and tracking major waterparks projects.
▶ Billy Hamilton

Universal Orlando Resort
Orlando
In his 46-year career at prominent Orlando waterparks, Hamilton has managed the care of rides and pools, and helped develop and design them. As a CPO instructor, he shares his vast knowledge with hundreds of new pros.
▶ Patty MillerDirector of Supplier Relations
WWA
Overland Park, Kan.
An employee of the WWA since 1986, with much of her time working on its trade show, Miller has helped members integrate into the industry and the association.
