AOAP

Professionals now can sign up for next year’s AOAP Annual Conference and Exposition & NDPA Water Safety Conference.

For the second year, the Association of Aquatic Professionals will co-locate its conference with the National Drowning Prevention Alliance’s. This time, a single registration will provide access to both conferences. The event takes place Feb. 12-15, 2024 in Reno, Nev. Pre-conference sessions begin Feb. 10, while post-conference instruction runs until Feb. 17.

The conference starts with a keynote address by Summer Sanders, an Olympic Champion swimmer, television host, and ambassador for charitable organizations. Closing the conference will be a conversation about water safety with Dr. Ben Hoffman, president of the Academy of Pediatrics.

On Feb. 14, the Aquatics International General Session and Awards Ceremony will honor recipients of the Best of Aquatics and Power Issue designations. And fan experience expert Ruby Newell-Legner will share how she provides “Seven-Star Service.” Newell-Legner has developed customized service experience programs for more than 1,000 businesses, including 29 professional sports teams.

Pre-conference sessions include AOAP's Directors School, the National Build and Program a Pool Workshop, CPO course, the Aquatic Venue Public Health Inspector Course and others. They require separate registration.
