Landmark Aquatic, the Maryland Heights, Mo.-based consolidator specializing in commercial pool service, has made a number of key hires to position it for further growth.
Marie Ramos joins the company as vice president of sales, Jessica Mahoney will serve as vice president of marketing, and Karen Swindells now is manager of training and development.
"We are at a pivotal moment in Landmark Aquatic’s expansion," said CEO Ryan Casserly. "The expertise and leadership that Marie, Jessica, and Karen bring to our team will be instrumental in our continued success. Their collective experience in sales, marketing, and training will position us for long-term growth, ensuring we remain at the forefront of the aquatic industry."
Ramos brings more than 26 years of executive sales experience in service growth, contract management, and revenue expansion. The company expects her to play a crucial role in driving new business development, strengthening client partnerships, and launching innovative aquatic care programs.
Mahoney has a background in brand strategy, market expansion, and industry leadership. She will oversee strategic marketing initiatives.
Swindells offers expertise in employee education, learning systems, and talent development. She will lead training initiatives meant to ensure quality service and support new program rollouts.
The company also strengthened its presence in Central Texas with the purchase of Austin-based Commercial Swim. The 27-year-old company performs pool maintenance, repairs, leak detection and equipment upgrades.
“After two decades serving our community, it was important for us to find a partner who shares our values,” said the former owner of Commercial Swim, Michelle Bouzek. “Landmark Aquatic is a perfect fit — this partnership allows us to grow with purpose and provide even greater value to our customers.”
This marks the third acquisition for Landmark Aquatics, which purchased Arizona-based Commercial Pool Repair, and Spear Corporation in Indiana last year. Landmark formed in 2023 with the merging of Progressive Commercial Aquatics of Houston, and St. Louis-based Westport Pools. It serves 16 states.
"The growth we’ve seen in the past year is just the beginning," Casserly said. "We are building a powerhouse team here at Landmark, and are more equipped than ever to innovate, expand, and elevate the standard of excellence in the aquatic industry."
