It appears that "riding the man-made waves" continues to enjoy surging popularity.
H20 Adventure, an aquatic leisure center in Kelowna, British Columbia, reportedly has debuted Canada’s first FlowRider surfing wave machine.
In addition, this spring’s grand opening of the Beaches Turks & Caicos Resort Villages & Spa’s featured the SurfStream standing wave machine. Solana Beach, Calif.-based manufacturer American Wave machines reports that this marks the first standing wave machine in the Western Hemisphere.
