Like virtually all industry events since March, the national pool/spa convention and expo has moved to a virtual format - and it begins this week.
The International Pool | Spa | Patio Expo is being held free of charge and begins this Wednesday, Nov. 11, and runs through Friday, Nov. 13.
Educational sessions will be presented, and vendors and attendees will have opportunities to connect, such as through a Virtual Expo Hall and a matchmaking platform, where show organizers coordinate meetings between manufacturers and attendees.
Each day will kick off with one of the popular Power Panels, where highly regarded professionals field questions pertaining to their segments – either building, service or retail. On Wednesday, the Retail Power Panel will speak; Thursday will feature the Builder Power Panel; and Friday will begin with the Service Power Panel. All panels will be recorded and available on-demand for pre-registered attendees.
This event is taking place in collaboration with DeckExpo, an event catering to the custom builders, dealers, contractors and other construction professionals and firms involved in the making of decks, docks and railings. That partnership, known as a co-location, will continue in the virtual version.
Ninety vendors will participate in the event. Attendees can preschedule meetings or have more spontaneous meetings during the event. Attendees also can be matched with exhibitors who offer the produces they need.
The annual Product Showcase also will take place virtually, with vendors playing their latest technology and solutions in a dedicated location outside the virtual booths.
