WaterWorld in Stoke-on-Trent, England is planning on offering a women-only night on August 9. The "sisters-only" event will ban bikinis and visitors will have to dress in "Islamically appropriate" clothing.

Appropriate clothing is being referred to as long jogging pants and some kind of dark t-shirt.

The park is also staffing only female lifeguards for the event, and other lifeguards will be at the gates to prevent men from entering the park.

However, the event has drawn some controversy. One Conservative MP was quoted by News Every Day as saying:

I imagine there would be a lot of outrage if the boot was on the other foot and swimmers were told they had to dress appropriately in respect of Christians. I don't see how this is different. -Philip Hollobone
