When industry pioneer George Millay first opened Wet ’n Wild more than three decades ago, the idea was essentially to create a theme park with water rides.
Today, it’s one of the only other outdoor waterparks open year ’round and with state-of-the-art rides that incorporate lights, sound and visual effects — such as Disco H2O, The Brain Wash and The Black Hole: The Next Generation — it continues to set new standards for aquatic fun.
Other top attractions at Wet ’n Wild are two multiperson raft rides, the Wake Zone, a 17,000-square-foot wave pool and a lazy river. Rounding out the fun is a children’s area.
