Located between two top hotels on the shore of the Arabian Sea, Wild Wadi Waterpark is the only Arabian-themed amusement venue in the United Arab Emirates.
Built around the tale of Juha, a popular character from Arabian folklore, the park has 30 rides and attractions. These include nine Master Blaster water coasters — more than any other waterpark in the world, according to operators — and two stationary wave machines.
This year construction will begin on two new water slides, Tantrum Alley and Behemoth Bowl. Overseeing the operation is a staff of more than 500 full-time Wild Wadi colleagues from 41 different nationalities.
This cultural diversity is celebrated nightly with a unique closing ceremony tradition. At the end of each day, 10 to 15 staff members from various departments gather at the main gate to bid guests a fond farewell through song, dance and a genuine, heartfelt “goodbye.”
