At a black-tie gala dinner at the London Hilton on Park Lane, winners of the Second Annual World Spa & Wellness Awards were announced. Hundreds of entries from around the globe were submitted, but only 10 received top honors for 2013, in categories such as Hotel Spa of the Year - North and South America (winner: Spa Montage Laguna Beach, Calif., USA) and Destination Spa of the Year - Asia and Australasia (winner: Como Shambhala Estate, Bali). The awards recognize quality, innovation and service at spas around the world.
